June 19, 2023 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)
6:00-7:00…
Pulled in to the property at A street B,C,D,E,F,G to Ocean Blvd across to Channel and jetty park then up to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. All normal.
7:00-8:00…
I patrolled back over Ocean front alley and back to Channel and jetty park. Then across Ocean alley north to G . I then had a complaint about a homeless man on the sidewalk of 1536 Ocean Blvd. He was cooperative. I showed him the way off the point to the bus stop. Hopefully he’ll find a place to go. A lot of garages open. I will continue to monitor.
8:00-9:00..
I patrolled across to G street. Then up and over to Miramar drive and Miramar alley. Then L street and L park and I street and I alley. Then all alleys on the east side and west side of the neighborhood. A lot of garages open I will continue to monitor.
9:00-10:00….
I patrolled back to G street and Miramar drive and Miramar alley to L street and L park. Then a full garage patrol. All garages are closed for now. Then over to Ocean front alley and back to Channel and jetty park. Busy night on the point. Then up to the fishing pier for closure. All cooperative.
10:00-11:00…
I patrolled across to G street and up to E Bay alley and back to Ocean front alley and back to Channel and jetty park for closure. A few people all cooperative. Summer is on.
11:00-12:00….
I patrolled across to Ocean front alley a constant patrol of jetty park a lot of teenagers want to hang around. Some reluctant to leave. Most of cooperative.
12:00-12:30…
I patrolled back to G street and up to E Bay alley and back to Channel and the fishing pier. Then down to jetty park. All quiet. Then across Ocean Blvd to G street. All is well.

1:15-2:00…
I pulled back in at A street B,C,D,E,F,G to Balboa Blvd across to Channel and jetty park then across Ocean front alley to G street. Then across Ocean Blvd back to Channel and up to the fishing pier. 1 person on the pier. Left without incident. Then a complete perimeter patrol and interior patrol of the neighborhood. All quiet.
