PATROL REPORT – June 1, 2023

June 1, 2023 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)

6:00-7:00…

Pulled in to the property at A street to Balboa Blvd to Channel and jetty park then up to the fishing pier and the clubhouse All quiet.

7:00-8:00…

I patrolled over to Ocean front alley and back to Channel and jetty park. Then across Ocean alley north to G street and up to E Bay alley and back to the clubhouse. All quiet.

8:00-9:00..

I patrolled to Miramar drive and Miramar alley to L street and L park. Then over to Seville and Granada Avenues and all alleys on the east side and west side of the neighborhood. Busy summer is on for the most part.

9:00-10:00….

I patrolled back to G street and Ocean front alley and to jetty park then up to Seville and Granada Avenues. Then across to G street and Miramar drive and Miramar alley to L street and L park. Then across to the fishing pier for closure. A few fisherman. Cooperative for now. I will continue to monitor.

10:00-11:00…

I patrolled across to G street and over to Ocean front alley and back to Channel. Then up to the fishing pier. All clear for now. Then back to jetty park. I cleared the area. I had a group down the beach having a fire. I made them put it out immediately. I explained to them about fires without a legal fire ring etc. They understood. Looking good for now. Continued monitoring.

11:00-12:00….

I patrolled across to Ocean front alley to jetty park. A few people cooperative so far. Then I patrolled back to Ocean front alley and back to Channel and up to the fishing pier and the clubhouse.

12:00-12:30…

I patrolled back to G  street and up to E bay alley and back to Channel and jetty park. A constant flow of people. Cooperative so far.

12:30…break…1:15…back..

1:15-2:00…

I pulled back in at A street B,C,D,E,F,G to Balboa Blvd across to Channel and jetty  park. More people. On the lifeguard tower and fishing. All cooperative. I then patrolled across to G street and Miramar drive and Miramar alley. Then a complete perimeter patrol and interior of the neighborhood. Code 4.
