April 25, 2023 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)
6:00-7:00…
Pulled in to the property at A street B,C,D,E,F,G to Balboa Blvd and over to Channel and jetty park then across Ocean front alley and back to G street and up to the clubhouse. All quiet.
7:00-8:00…
I patrolled over to Ocean alley north to G street and Miramar drive and Miramar alley to L street. Then L street and L park. Then up to E Bay alley and back to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. Code 4.
8:00-9:00…
I Patrolled the over to Ocean front alley and back to G street and all alleys. Alleys on the east side of the neighborhood and the west side of the neighborhood. Garage patrol. A few open at this time.
9:00-10:00..
I patrolled the alleys on the east side of the neighborhood and the west side. I then patrolled across to E Bay alley and back to Channel and down to Ocean front alley and back to the fishing pier for closure. All quiet. Then Seville and Granada Avenues.
10:00-11:00..
I patrolled the entire perimeter and interior of the neighborhood and then over to Ocean front alley and back to Channel. Then up to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. I then patrolled down to jetty park for closure. All cooperative.
11:00-12:00… 2
I then patrolled across to Ocean front alley and back to Channel and jetty park. I have a group of about 7-8 young adults on the lifeguard tower at the wedge. I’ve asked them to leave a couple times. They are not cooperating. I will continue to monitor. I have informed Newport beach police .
12:00-12:30….
I proceeded to patrol across Ocean front alley and back to Channel and jetty park then up to the fishing pier and back to jetty park.
1 00..Still monitoring jetty park. The police have arrived . He’s walking out to the wedge. Apparently the group left. The officer is back. He had a separate report on a girl that was possibly suicidal. He has found her. He is talking to her now .She is waiting for an uber.

I continued my patrol over to Ocean Blvd across to G street and Miramar drive and Miramar alley to L street and L park. Then across to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. Then a complete perimeter patrol and interior of the neighborhood. All quiet.
