July 10, 2024 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)
7:00-8:00….
Pulled in at A street B,C,D,E,F,G to E Bay alley and across to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. Several people fishing as usual. Then down to jetty park and across Ocean front alley to G street. A few people in the beach access areas…
8:00-9:00…
I pulled down to G street and across Ocean alley north to Channel and jetty park. Then across to Miramar drive and Miramar alley to L street and L park and I street and I alley. Garage patrol in progress…
9:00-10:00….
I had some complaints about construction wood being stolen on Miramar drive. I didn’t witness aanything.I check these sights and some are not locked and fenced properly. I call the contractors when the phone numbers are available. I either talk to them or leave a message. Its a possible squatting spot as well.Then across to the fishing pier for closure. All cooperative….
10:00-11:00……
I pulled in at A street B,C,D,E,F,G and G street access.I had complaints about G street. I patrol the area constantly. Its a hot spot for hangers I know. I do what I can to get people out of there. I often Express to homeowners and that more police presence would help. I rarely see them. I then patrolled across to jetty park for closure. Busy night. A lot of disagreements about were you can legally fish. All cooperative at jetty park for closure..
11:00-12:00….
I then patrolled across to Miramar drive and Miramar alley to L street and L park and I alley. Then all alleys on the east side of the neighborhood. Then up to Seville and Granada Avenues and over to the fishing pier. All clear…
12:00-1:00…..
I then patrolled across to G street access. A few more ppeople.They left. Then up to E Bay alley and back to Channel and jetty park. Then across Ocean blvd to G street. Then up to Miramar drive and across to Channel..
1:00-1:30….
I patrolled across to G street and across Ocean front alley to jetty park. All is quiet for now…..

2:00-3:00….
I pulled in at A street B,C,D,E,F,G. Down G street. A few people inn cars. I asked them to leave. They ask why, I say this is not a good place to be this late. Chances are good the police will arrive next…I then patrolled across Ocean front alley to jetty park. All quiet. Then across Ocean alley north to G street. Then up to E Bay alley and back to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. Then across to Miramar drive and Miramar alley to L street and L park. I circle that interior area several times. Then all alleys on the east and west side. Then a complete perimeter and interior patrol of the neighborhood. All is well code 4..patrolled….
