PATROL REPORT – July 6, 2024

July 6, 2024 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)

7pm to 3am S/O David Sierras

7pm – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…… Checking on homes under construction, observing vehicle and pedestrian movement, no unusual activity.

8pm – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…… Checking on homes under construction, observing vehicle and pedestrian movement, no unusual activity.

9pm – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…… observing vehicle and pedestrian movement, no unusual activity.

10pm – Removed several people fishing on the pier and warning people the beach is closed.

11pm – West Jetty View Park is now closed, a few people didn’t want to leave but after I explained to them the park hours they decided to leave without incident.

12am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…. **At 12:21am an alarm was coming from 2168 E. Oceanfront…I rang the doorbell but no response, I will monitor the area during the night. At 12:41am I removed a possible homeless male near the fishing pier. At 12:49am a broken water sprinkler was flooding the jetty park sidewalk and out into the street.

1am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks….. At 1:08am I removed a possible homeless male from a construction site at 501 J Street…. I escorted him off the peninsula to make sure he doesn’t enter any other property.

2am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks….. The alarm 2168 E. Oceanfront remains on and the broken sprinkler head from the jetty park is still running out into the street.

3am – No problems to report…. Off Duty.
