September 7, 2024 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)
7pm to 3am S/O David Sierras
7pm – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks….. Checking on homes under construction, observing vehicle and pedestrian movement, no unusual activity.
8pm – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…… Checking on homes under construction, observing vehicle and pedestrian movement, no unusual activity.
9pm – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…… observing vehicle and pedestrian movement, no problems to report.
10pm – Removing several people from the pier and warning people the beach is close
11pm – West Jetty View Park is now closed and I cleared the park of all visitors.
12am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…. Checking on homes under construction, observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, deterring people from entering beach and the park.
**At 12:50am 6 males were giving me a hard time about leaving the beach, after continuous persuasion they decided to leave.
1am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks….. I am deterring vehicles from parking near jetty park and from entering the beach.
**At 1:57am I received a telephone call from a resident about noise on the beach near M Street, upon my arrival I observed 3 males and 3 females playing loud music, I informed them that the beach is closed and they left the beach.
2am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks….. Checking on homes under construction, observing vehicle and pedestrian movement, no unusual activity.
**At 2:51am I received a telephone call from a resident about noise coming from the G lifeguard tower, upon my arrival I observed a small family playing loud music, I told them the beach is closed and they left the beach.
3am – No problems to report…. Off Duty.
