July 4, 2023 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)
7:00-8:00
Pulled in to the property at A street B,C,D,E,F,G to Ocean Blvd then across to jetty park. Everyone is coming in for the fireworks. Very busy. Then up to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. All normal.
8:00-9:00
I patrolled back over to Ocean front alley and back to Channel and up to Ocean alley north and across to G street and up to E Bay alley and back to Channel. Then over to Miramar drive and Miramar alley and L street and .A lot of activity I’m just patrolling all areas trying to make presence and stay available. So far a lot of home fireworks. I have told several people they are illegal. I informed the police. They told me to just make sure no one is getting injured.
9:00-10:00.
I patrolled across to Ocean alley and back to Channel and jetty park. The professional shows are in full motion. Then finished about 10: 30.mass exit. Patrolling again making sure traffic goes the right way. Then closing the fishing pier. A lot of people still around.
10:00-11:00..
I patrolled back to A street B,C,D,E,F,G to Ocean front alley and back to Channel and jetty park . Then across to Seville and Granada Avenues and over to Ocean Blvd. A constant patrol of the neighborhood. Then over to close jetty park. I’m being extra patient with people. 4th if July. It going to be a while before things calm down.
11:00-12:00.. 2
I patrolled across to Ocean alley north to L street and up to Balboa Blvd and across to A street. Then back across to Ocean Blvd over to Channel and jetty park. A few people trying hang out most of them cooperative. All is well. A few garages are open in Ocean front alley. I’ve tried to get them closed and no response. I will continue to monitor throughout the shift.
12:00-1:00…
I patrolled across to Channel and jetty park a constant approach by people as I tell them the area is closed. Then across to G street and up to E Bay alley and back to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. All is well.

I patrolled over to jetty park then across Ocean Blvd to E Bay alley and back to the fishing pier. I then patrolled back to jetty park. A few people all cooperative. Then an alley patrol. All garages are closed for now.

2:15-3:00..
I pulled back in at A street B,C,D,E,F,G to Ocean Blvd across to Channel and jetty park then up to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. All quiet. Then across to G street and Miramar drive and Miramar alley to L street and L park. Then across to all alleys on the east side and the west side of the neighborhood. Then a complete perimeter patrol and interior of the neighborhood. All quiet.
