PATROL REPORT – February 14, 2025

February 14, 2025 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)

7pm to 3am S/O David Sierras

7pm – On Duty, Patrolling streets, alleys and parks… Observing vehicle and pedestrian movement.

8pm – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…… Checking on homes under construction, observing vehicle and pedestrian movement.

9pm – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…… observing vehicle and pedestrian movement, no unusual activity to report.

10pm – The pier and the beach are now closed, removing 2 males and 2 females from the Wedge lifeguard tower.

11pm – West Jetty View Park is now closed. Turning away vehicles as they approach the West Jetty View Park that may be attempting to enter park/beach.

12am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…. Checking on homes under construction.

1am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks….. Low vehicle traffic and no problems to report.

2am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks….. Checking on homes under construction. ***2:36am I observed a white male walking slowly on channel Rd towards E. Ocean Blvd, he sat down on the curb in front of 2291 channel Rd, I called the police for suspicious subject looking in the yards of homes and looking in vehicles. The subject was wearing a dark hoodie, light colored pants and wearing a black backpack. The subject obtained a ride and departed the area…..I cancelled the police.

***2:54am – A white Toyota Tacoma truck entered the dead end street at channel Rd playing loud music, the driver noticed me and drove away but parked in front of 1732 E. Ocean Blvd , I approached the truck but the driver drove away to park in front of 2149 E. Ocean Blvd, I approached the truck again and I told him to leave, I escorted him off of BPP to prevent any further disturbance.
