August 30, 2024 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)
7pm to 3am S/O David Sierras
7pm – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks….. Checking on homes under construction, observing vehicle and pedestrian movement, no unusual activity.
8pm – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…… Checking on homes under construction, observing vehicle and pedestrian movement, no unusual activity.
9pm – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…… observing vehicle and pedestrian movement, no problems to report.
10pm – Removing several people from the pier and warning people the beach is closed.
**At 10:15pm I discovered a black Porsche trunk open at the rear of 1548 E. Ocean Blvd, I looked around to see if the vehicle was damaged and then I closed the trunk to prevent anyone from entering the vehicle, a neighbor witnessed me securing the vehicle.
11pm – West Jetty View Park is now closed and I cleared the park of all visitors.
**At 11:56pm I observed a garage door open at 1740 E. Oceanfront….an hour later it was closed.
12am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…. Checking on homes under construction, observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, deterring people from entering beach and the park.
1am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks….. I am deterring vehicles from parking near jetty park and from entering the beach.
2am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks….. Checking on homes under construction, observing vehicle and pedestrian movement, no unusual activity.
3am – No problems to report…. Off Duty.
