December 13, 2024 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)
7pm to 3am S/O David Sierras
7pm – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks….. Checking on homes under construction, observing vehicle and pedestrian movement, no unusual activity to report.
8pm – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…… Checking on homes under construction, observing vehicle and pedestrian movement, no problems to report.
9pm – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…… observing vehicle and pedestrian movement, no unusual activity to report.
10pm – Removing people from the pier and warning people the beach is closed.
11pm – West Jetty View Park is now closed and I cleared the park of all visitors.
12am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…. Checking on homes under construction, observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, deterring incoming vehicles approaching beach and the park.
**12:25am – removing male and female from G Street lifeguard tower and a male and female on the beach next to G Street lifeguard tower.
1am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks….. I am deterring vehicles from parking near jetty park and from entering the beach.
**1:50am – several people arriving and leaving at 426 I Street.
2am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks….. Checking on homes under construction, observing and deterring vehicles approaching the jetty park, no unusual activity to report.
**2:50am – a suspicious grey Silverado is parked on G Street near a home under construction, the male and female were the two I removed from the beach earlier, the male passenger approached me and showed me a star badge and told me that he and the female are police officers, I asked him to show me the badge again and he denied my request, I called the police but after 20 minutes they decided to leave, I cancelled police.
3am – No problems to report…. Off Duty.
