PATROL REPORT – September 29, 2024

September 29, 2024 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)

7pm to 3am S/O David Sierras

7pm – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks….. Checking on homes under construction, observing vehicle and pedestrian movement, no unusual activity.

8pm – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…… Checking on homes under construction, observing vehicle and pedestrian movement, no unusual activity.

9pm – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…… observing vehicle and pedestrian movement, no problems to report.

10pm – Removing several people from the pier and warning people the beach is close.

11pm – West Jetty View Park is now closed and I cleared the park of all visitors.

12am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…. Checking on homes under construction, observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, deterring people from entering beach and the park.

1am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks….. I am deterring vehicles from parking near jetty park and from entering the beach.

**1:05 a.m. – I removed a male and female sleeping in a tent on the beach near the second lifeguard tower from the Jetty.

2am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks….. Checking on homes under construction, observing vehicle and pedestrian movement, no unusual activity.

**2:07 a.m. – I noticed the construction gate at 1420 G Street was tilted open, as I was checking the area I noticed a male sleeping in an older model pick-up truck, CA license plate 09403S2. I asked him to leave and he drove away. 10 minutes later I found him again parked on E. Ocean Blvd, I escorted him away from Balboa Peninsula Point.

3am – No problems to report…. Off Duty.
