PATROL REPORT – March 22, 2025

March 22, 2025 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)

7pm to 3am S/O David Sierras

7pm – On Duty, Patrolling streets, alleys and parks… Observing vehicle and pedestrian movement.***I am moving vehicles parked near the red curb at the Jetty Park.

8pm – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…… Checking on homes under construction, observing vehicle and pedestrian movement.

9pm – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…… observing vehicle and pedestrian movement, no unusual activity to report.

10pm – The pier and the beach are now closed, warning visitors that the beach and pier are now closed.

***10:56 pm – I discovered a sea lion on the beach between the P lifeguard Tower and the wedge lifeguard tower, fish and wildlife have been notified and animal control will be coming later for the sea lion.

11pm – West Jetty View Park is now closed, clearing all visitors from the park.

12am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…. Checking on homes under construction.

***12:23 am – I removed a mail and female from the beach near I Street, they walked to the rear of a house at 1700 East oceanfront and disappeared at the side of the house, I believe they left around 1:14 a.m. in a silver Hyundai Elantra parked on I Street.

1am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…… I am deterring vehicles from parking near jetty park and from entering the beach..

***1:07 am – I heard loud voices coming from the area of m Street and Balboa, as I approach the area I noticed a male sitting on the curb leaning back on the ground with two females attempting to stand him up, I asked them to keep the talking down because it was too loud and they walked back into the house at 2116 East Balboa avenue

2am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…..Checking on homes under construction and observing vehicles entering BPP.

3am – Off Duty
