March 14, 2025 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)
7pm to 3am S/O David Sierras
7pm – On Duty, Patrolling streets, alleys and parks… Observing vehicle and pedestrian movement.
8pm – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…… Checking on homes under construction, observing vehicle and pedestrian movement.
9pm – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…… observing vehicle and pedestrian movement, no unusual activity to report.
10pm – The pier and the beach are now closed, warning visitors that the beach and pier are now closed.
***10:50 pm – I am removing a female and her dog from the beach near G Street.
***10:52 pm – I am removing a male and female from the G Street lifeguard tower.
11pm – West Jetty View Park is now closed, clearing all visitors from the park.***11:04 pm – I removed 4 males from the beach near L Street that started a bonfire.
***11:50 pm – Paul from California Fish & Wildlife drove onto the beach and inspected the Jetty.
12am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…. Checking on homes under construction.
***12:15 am – I noticed a small group of people at the G Street beach entrance, when I drove closer I seen 2 people on the restoration area behind 1500 G Street, as I attempted to illuminate the area with my flashlight a female slapped my hand that held my flashlight and a male confronted me in a hostile manner, I took a defensive position and told them to leave, they drove away fast and in a reckless manner.
1am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…… I am deterring approaching vehicles from parking near jetty park and from entering the beach
2am – Patrolling streets, alleys and parks…..Checking on homes under construction and observing vehicles entering BPP. ***2:04 am – I prevented a male and female from entering the park, they drove away in a silver Toyota Tacoma. At 12:10 am I removed the same 2 from the pier. At 12:14 am the same 2 were parked on M Street near Serrano Ave…as I approached their location they drove away and off of BPP.
