July 18, 2023 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)
7:00-8:00
Pulled in to the property at A street B,C,D,E,F,G to Ocean Blvd across to Channel and jetty park. A good amount of people out. Then up to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. Then across to G street and Ocean front alley and back to Channel. All normal.
8:00-9:00
I patrolled up to Ocean alley north to G street. Then up to E Bay alley and back to Channel and the clubhouse. Then across to Miramar drive and Miramar alley to L street and L park. All quiet. Then across to all alleys on the east side and the west side of the neighborhood. Garage patrol.
9:00-10:00.
I patrolled back to G street and across Ocean front alley to Channel and jetty park. All is well. A few garages I was able to get them closed. Then Ocean alley north to G street and up to E Bay alley. Then across to the fishing pier for closure. All cooperative.
10:00-11:00..
I patrolled back to A street B,C,D,E,F,G to Ocean front alley and back to Channel and jetty park. Then up to check on the fishing pier. All quiet. Then down to Ocean alley north to G street and Miramar drive. Then over Miramar drive to jetty park for closure. People are out fishing and enjoying. All cooperative about clearing out so far.
11:00-12:00..
I patrolled across to Ocean alley north to G and up to Balboa Blvd then across to Seville and Granada Avenues and all alleys on the east side. All garages are closed for now I will continue to monitor. Then a complete perimeter patrol and interior of the neighborhood.
12:00-1:00…
I patrolled across to G street and up to E Bay alley and then across to Channel and the clubhouse and the fishing pier. Then across to Miramar drive and Miramar alley to L street and L park. Then over to Channel and jetty park. I have a man that has driven on to the beach again at jetty park. He is stuck. I have notified Newport police . They are here. They are investigating the situation. All is quiet other than that.

I patrolled over to Miramar drive and Miramar alley to L street. I then patrolled all alleys on the east side of the neighborhood and the west side. All is quiet and all garages are closed for now.

I pulled back in at A street B,C,D,E,F,G to Ocean Blvd across to Channel and jetty park. They are towing the vehicle off the beach now. Its quite a process. I then continued my patrol across Ocean alley north to G street and up to Balboa Blvd. I then patrolled the entire perimeter and interior of the neighborhood.
