February 8, 2024 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)
7:00-8:00.
I pulled in at A street B,C,D,E,F,G to Balboa Blvd. Then across to the fishing pier and down to jetty park. Still a light rain. Then up to the fishing pier and the clubhouse and across to G street and Ocean front alley and back to Channel. Then across Ocean alley north to G street. All quiet. A few garages are open. I will continue to monitor.
8:00-9:00..
I then patrolled across to E Bay alley and back to the fishing pier and across to G street and Miramar drive to Miramar alley. Then over to L street and L park and all alleys on the east and west side of the neighborhood. All normal.
9:00-10:00…
I then patrolled across to G street and Ocean front alley to Channel and up Seville and Granada Avenues and Seville alley. I have a garage door open I’m trying to contact them. I then patrolled across to jetty park then up to the fishing pier for closure. Raining again. All is well.
10-00-11:00….
I pulled back in at A street B,C,D,E,F,G to Ocean front alley. To Channel and up to the fishing pier and across to G street Miramar alley to Seville and Granada Avenues. Then a complete perimeter patrol. Then across to jetty park for closure. All is well.
11:00-12:00…
I then patrolled over to Ocean front alley. I reported 2 open garages. 405 Seville has been closed.2266 Ocean front alley is not. Newport beach police could not contact the homeowner. There was no way for the officer to safely close the garage. The cars were to tight. I then patrolled the entire perimeter and interior of the neighborhood. All quiet.
12:00-1:00..
I then patrolled over to G street and over to Ocean front alley and back to Channel and up to E Bay alley and back to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. All quiet.
1:00-130..
I patrolled over to Ocean alley north to Channel and jetty park then up to Seville and Granada Avenues. All is well.

2:15-3:00..
I pulled back in at A street B,C,D,E,F,G to E Bay alley and back to Miramar drive and Miramar alley. Then across to L street and L park and across to I street and all alleys on the east side. Then over to Channel and down to Ocean front alley and back to G street and across Ocean alley north to Channel. Then a complete perimeter and interior patrol of the neighborhood. All is well code 4..patrolled.
