PATROL REPORT – April 19, 2023

April 19, 2023 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)

6:00-7:00…

Pulled in to the property at A street B,C,D,E,F,G to Ocean Blvd across to Channel and jetty park then up to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. All quiet.

7:00-8:00…

I patrolled over to Ocean front alley and back to Channel and Ocean alley north to G street. Then up to E Bay alley and back to Channel. While patrolling down Channel I was flagged down by a man at jetty park. A woman had drove scraping the guard rail on to the wedge security road. I spoke to her briefly. She was confused and lost. Apparently from Monterey Park. The Newport police showed up at that moment and took over the situation. All is ok other than that.

8:00-9:00…

I Patrolled the over to G street and Miramar drive and Miramar alley to L street and L park. Then across to Channel and jetty park then up to the alleys on the east side. All is well.

9:00-10:00..

I patrolled back to Channel and Seville and Granada Avenues and over Ocean alley north to G street and back across Ocean front alley. Then up to close the fishing pier. All is well.

10:00-11:00..

I patrolled back to G and Miramar street and Miramar alley to L street and L park. Then across to Channel and the clubhouse. Then down to jetty park for closure. A bit busy . I walked down to beach and around. I had a group trying 2

to halfway camp along the jetty. I told them they cannot do that. They were cooperative and packed up their things. All is well.

11:00-12:00..

I patrolled back to G street and around to E Bay alley and back to Channel and the clubhouse. Then circled around to Ocean front alley and back to Channel. All is well.

12:00-12:30..

I then patrolled over to E Bay alley and back to Channel and jetty park then up to Seville and Granada Avenues and over to the clubhouse. All quiet.

12:30…break..1:15..back.

1:15-2:00..

I pulled back in at A street B,C,D,E,F,G to Ocean Blvd across to Channel and jetty park. Then up to the fishing pier and the clubhouse. A few people trying to fish. They left peacefully. Then across to G street and Miramar drive and Miramar alley to L street. Then a complete perimeter patrol and interior patrol of the neighborhood. All is well.
