PATROL REPORT – September 19, 2023

September 19, 2023 – (Balboa Peninsula Point Patrol Assignment)

7::00-8:00.

Pulled in at A street B,C,D,E,F,G to  Ocean Blvd to Channel and jetty park. All is normal. Then up to the fishing pier and the clubhouse and across to G street and Ocean front alley. Then back to Channel and across Ocean alley north to G street. All quiet.

8:00-9:00.

Then   I went up to E Bay alley and back to Channel and the clubhouse. I then patrolled across to Miramar drive and Miramar alley to L street and L park and I street. Then I patrolled the entire perimeter and interior of the neighborhood. Then all alleys on the east and west side of the neighborhood. A few garages open I will continue to monitor.

9:00-10:00

I Patrolled back to G street and Ocean front alley across to jetty park . A few fisherman all normal. Then across Ocean Blvd to G street and up to E Bay alley and back to the fishing pier for closure. All quiet.

10:00-11:00.

I patrolled back in at A street B,C,D,E,F,G to Ocean Blvd and over to jetty park . Then across to G street and Miramar drive and Miramar alley to L street and L park. Then across to m street and all alleys on the east and west side of the neighborhood. Then across to close jetty park. All cooperative.

11:00-12:00

I patrolled back to Ocean Blvd across to G street and back to Ocean alley north to Channel and jetty park. Then up to the fishing pier and over to Miramar drive and Miramar alley. Then back across to all alleys on the east side and west side of the neighborhood. All is well.  All garages are closed.

12:00-1:00.

I then patrolled across to Channel a few people in the car. They left when they saw me. Then across Ocean alley north to G street and up to E Bay alley. Another  car left from k street when they saw me. Then back across to the fishing pier and down to jetty park. All quiet at this time.

1:00-1:30.

I then patrolled back to Ocean  front alley and across to G street. I had a car pull in at G street smelling of gas and making a bad noise. I tried to help the driver and tell him to head back to town. He wouldn’t listen and tried to avoid me. He then went the wrong way on Miramar and ended up on I street against the beach wall. I informed Newport beach police and they are investigating. All is quiet elsewhere. The investigation ended the vehicle left .

1:30-2:15.. break…2:15..back…..

2:15-3:00.

I patrolled in at A street B,C,D,E,F,G to Ocean front alley and back to Channel and  jetty park. All quiet. Then up to the fishing pier and across to G street and Ocean alley north to Channel. Then Ocean front alley back to G street. Then up to E Bay alley and back to the clubhouse. Then a complete perimeter patrol and interior of the neighborhood. All is well.
